Thank you for booking a Portrait Session with RainC Photography! Here are some recommendations to help you prepare. Let‘s create and capture memories that will last a lifetime.
Family Photography Outfit Inspiration
Preparing for your Family Session
What to wear
Family Photography Session Outfits:
•Mom, pick your outfit first! Build off of that for the rest of the family.
• You don’t need to buy new outfits for the whole family! Once you know what you’re wearing, find neutral tones that compliment each other.
• I generally recommend neutral earth toned colors. Add in a pop of color (not too bright or vibrant) and add in a pattern or texture. Layers are also great!
• Shoes matter…old sneakers will stand out!
Babies, Toddlers, & Children
• Try your best to book your Session after a Nap. Aim to arrive a bit early. Top off with a Bottle or Snack in the car before the Session. Well rested and full bellies are always a great way to start!
• Sometimes it’s better to let me get their attention and smiles. I sing, sneeze, and play peek a boo. If you aren’t directly behind the camera their eyes will be looking at you instead of me.
• Dress appropriately for the weather! Freezing cold or sweaty hot kiddos are usually not happy. They have a low tolerance and don’t understand why they are uncomfortable. Add or remove a layer of clothing to the outfit if needed!
• If they are sick…please reschedule! I can edit out boogies on a few favorites but not the entire gallery. If a baby or child has a fever when you arrive I will insist we reschedule.
• Rewards (or bribes hehe) are welcome! But please, no lollipops!
